Courses, launches and press coverage from the Unicity Factory pre-accelerator and the Summit.
Besenyei Sarolta, Executive Director of INCUBCENTER and expert evaluator for the European Commission, walked the teams through the main sources of funding, the advantages of each and how to choose the right instrument for a company's profile. Participants applied it in practical exercises built on their own business proposals.
Andrei Gusan, Fractional CTO at Happy Pixels and leader of RBL Mureș, talked about entrepreneurship and the roadmap of a startup: the difference between the problem and the solution, and how to plan the next steps so that each one tests what matters most.
Anamaria Ungur, CEO of Syndical, opened the series with customer understanding, validation interviews and the first pitch. Călin Ștefănescu, entrepreneur and CEO, followed with strategy, clarity in business and the steps from concept to results.
The first Unicity Factory course went straight to the core of a sustainable product: a deep understanding of the customer. Teams analysed real pain points, practised validation interviews and gave their first business pitch.
The selected Health and Technology teams were announced at University Forum and started a seven-week programme of courses, workshops and mentoring that ends with their pitch at the Summit on 25–26 November.
